Someone challenged me yesterday "I don't need you, AI does that"
I thought it was a great question, this was my answer.....
AI sets the baseline. I, we, you still need to bring the magic.
Let me explain what I mean. Right now, AI is brilliant, it drafts content faster, analyses data at scale, automates repetitive tasks, generates options and ideas to name a few.
That's levelling the playing field. Everyone has access to these tools. Using AI means you're keeping up.
But here's what AI can't do:
- Apply judgment and experience
- Understand context and nuance
- Make tough calls, cut through the noise
- Build genuine relationships
- Bring creativity and intuition
Here's what I tell clients, use AI to do in 10 minutes what used to take 2 hours. Then use that saved time to do the things only humans can do, the strategic thinking, the relationship building, the creative problem solving.
That's where the real impact happens.
AI is raising the baseline for everyone. What separates success from mediocrity now isn't whether you use AI, it's what you do with the time and capability it gives you back.
Every day counts.
The businesses winning right now are using AI for efficiency, then applying human expertise for impact. The ones falling behind are either not using AI at all or relying on AI completely.
Don't be either of those.
Use AI to level up. Then bring your experience, judgment and humanity to create something AI can't at the moment.
That's where the magic happens.
